Terms and Conditions of Booking with Excellence by Decision, Lda
By making a booking with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions,
Your transfer or any other chosen service will be confirmed by Excellence by Decision within 24 to 48 hours.
Payment must be made either by bank transfer, credit card or in cash made directly to our driver upon your arrival at the airport, before the journey to your destination begins. If you choose bank transfer, it should be transferred at least 48 hours in advance (working days), allowing sufficient time for the amount to be processed and credited to our account, please note that credit card payment carry an additional 3% processing fee. If a return transfer to airport is required, the full balance should be paid before your arrival by bank transfer, credit card or upon your arrival at Airport to our driver.
Our quotations are valid for 30 days from the date they are issued
Cancellations made up to 24 hours before the transfer are free of charge and without any penalty. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled transfer are non-refundable.
Each client is permitted one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage. Any additional items (such as golf clubs, or extra luggage) must be declared at the time of booking. We cannot guarantee transport of undeclared or excess baggage.
Excellence by Decision, reserves the right to deny service to clients who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who pose a potential threat to the safety and well-being of the driver
Smoking is strictly prohibited in our vehicles. The consumption of food and beverages is also not allowed, except for water or if provided by us.
We make every effort to ensure punctuality when collecting you at Faro/other Airport or for your return journey. However, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic, weather conditions, or police checks. Should any such situations occur, we will contact you promptly.
Excellence by Decision, accepts no liability for any loss or damage to personal items during the transfer. Clients are solely responsible for their belongings at all times.
For the safety and security of our clients and drivers, our vehicles are equipped with dashboard cameras that record both the exterior and interior during the service. These recordings are stored securely and are not used in any way unless required for safety, legal, or insurance purposes.
In the event that Excellence by Decision is unable to complete your transfer due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we will try our best to arrange an alternative vehicle of the same class through a trusted partner provided at no extra charge. In this specific situation the vehicle provided may differ from the one we use, but we will do our outmost to offer the same level of comfort and quality, we will be dependent on our partners to provide the transportation. If we are unable to provide an alternative vehicle, we will provide a full refund for the journey concerned.
In accordance with health and safety regulations, we reserve the right to deny transport if the requirement for baby or booster seats is not communicated in advance.
If we do not receive any communication regarding a delay, the driver may depart after 15 minutes for pick-ups from hotels or similar accommodations.
For airport, train station or cruise terminal arrivals, a complimentary waiting time of 1 hour is included.
